In Fiji:
Police have questioned five of eight likely suspects in connection with the death of Jone Vakarisi.
Investigators are continuing their inquiries, with three other likely suspects yet to be questioned.
Police say once all eight have been interviewed, the investigation file will be compiled and forwarded to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for independent legal review.
The investigation into Vakarisi’s death remains ongoing.
