The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) has officially confirmed that the FIJI Water Flying Fijians will take on Scotland in a highly anticipated test match on July 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM at HFC Bank Stadium.
This match will mark the 13th encounter between the two sides, with their rivalry dating back to 1982. Their most recent clash in 2024 saw Scotland secure a 57-17 victory over Fiji.
Flying Fijians Head Coach Mick Byrne, who recently returned from the UK and France, expressed enthusiasm about the match, emphasizing the importance of squad depth and ongoing player assessments.
“There is a good mix of players from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and we’re continuously monitoring and discussing selection as we approach the test dates,” said Byrne. “It will be great to play Scotland on our home ground with a strong squad.”
The match will serve as a key fixture in Fiji’s 2025 rugby calendar, contributing to preparations for upcoming international competitions.
