Fuel and LPG prices to decrease from 1st of January

Good news for Fijians as the cost of gas and fuel will decrease from New Year.

The Fiji Competition and Consumer Commission or FCCC has announced that Motor spirit, will decrease by 10 cents, and will now cost $2.92, a difference of 10 cents.

Premix, from $2.83 to $2.73. Kerosene prices a drop from $2.22 to $2.04, incurring VAT exempt.

And Diesel prices will decrease by 29 cents to $2.61.

Prices of Liquefied petroleum gases or LPG will also drop, as announced by FCCC.

A 4.5 KG Cylinder will now cost $15.60, a decrease of 1.39 percent.

A 12 KG Cylinder Gas will decrease by 58 cents, and will now cost $41.60.

FCCC has announced these approved new prices for retail fuel and LPG, and will be strictly monitoring the exercises and trade of these items.
