An international team of pediatric cardiac specialists are in the country to conduct heart surgeries for free on children with heart disease
The team will operate on 12 children at the Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital in Nasese, Suva.
The hospital was built to provide specialised treatment for children.
In the past two years, the hospital has conducted over 266 heart surgeries and have conducted over 6,000 screenings.
