In Fiji:
In order to discuss potential joint ventures into ethanol production in Fiji, Minister of Multi-Ethnic Affairs and the Sugar Industry, Charan Jeeth Singh met with Mr. Evandro Gussi, CEO of UNICA (Brazilian Sugarcane Industry and Bioenergy Association), in Brazil.
The talks mostly focused on a number of significant prospects that could support Fiji’s energy industry and economic expansion.
Since it doesn’t require any changes, Singh and UNICA investigated the possible advantages of introducing a 10% ethanol blend in Fiji.
