Members of the Joint Task Force Cori Mada 3 laid down their tools for a bit of community time with the members of the public in the Solomon Islands.

As they are currently deployed within the Solomon Islands under the Solomon Islands International Assistance Force (SIAF), the members showcased their soccer skills in a friendly match with the Burns Creek community.

The joint task force members have been engaged for weeks in community work, with the construction of a health center. They had decided that after a day of work, that they would spend time with the community and have a bit of fun.

From a friendly game of soccer to showcasing self-defense skills; surprisingly, the Burns community soccer team outclassed the joint SIAF team.

It was noted that as of the last update, 20 police officers consisting of a specialist tactical team from the Police Mobile Force, are working alongside the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Australian Federal Police are actively supporting regional efforts in the Solomon Islands during the pre/post election period.
