Electrifying Fiji 7s sensation Joji Nasova is set to light up the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific stage, having signed a two-year deal with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua beginning in 2026.

The 24-year-old speedster, a silver medallist at the Paris Olympics and joint-top try scorer of the 2025 HSBC SVNS Series with 26 tries, was also named in the Men’s Dream Team.

Nasova’s transition from sevens to fifteens marks another exciting chapter in his fast-rising rugby career.

His selection follows a standout debut for the Fiji Airways 7s team during the 2023/24 season in Hong Kong, and a gold-medal finish at the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara.

Before national selection, he built a reputation in domestic 7s tournaments with the Dominion Brothers.

Speaking on his new opportunity, Nasova said: “I’m really excited to be part of the Drua. It’s a big step for me and I hope to make the most of it.”

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head Coach Glen Jackson welcomed the signing, saying: “Joji is a huge talent. We’re thrilled to bring in someone who has already made such an impact in 7s.

We thank Osea Kolinisau and the 7s programme for the ongoing partnership that continues to produce world-class talent.”

Nasova follows in the footsteps of Ponipate Loganimasi, another 7s star turned Drua standout, who quickly rose to prominence in the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season
