SODELPA General-Secretary Viliame Takayawa says, they have received a number of calls and messages from high profile People’s Alliance Party supporters, Public Servants and Members of Parliament supporting the call for the Prime Minister to step down.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, and Deputy PAP leader Manoa Kamikamica, reaffirms that they have no plans, and that Sitiveni Rabuka will always have their support, as the Prime Minister.
When asked about whether he will take on the role of Prime Minister, as supported by the SODELPA working committee, Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica says, Rabuka is their only leader, and will always remain the as Prime Minister.
In a press release last night, the Peoples Alliance Party Confirmed its full support of Sitiveni Rabuka as Prime Minister of Fiji and Head of the Coalition Government. He says, he believes in the Coalition Party, and the leadership of Rabuka.
Kamikamica, denied claims of having been prepared for the role of Prime Minister.
