The Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public on the culvert laying works on Laucala Bay Road, Suva, which will involve temporary changes to traffic flow in the vicinity.
The work, which begins this morning is expected to complete around the 25th of May, from 8am to 5pm.
Access to Beach Road and the affected section of Laucala Bay Road will be limited to entry points at the Fletcher Road-Statham Street junction and the Fletcher Road-Catalina Street junction.
Motorist are urged to be aware that the entry lane from the Laucala Bay Road-Fletcher Road intersection will be temporarily closed during this period, while the exit lane will remain operational.
Motorists are advised to use this lane with caution and attention to safety.
A Temporary Traffic Management plan detailing the work site’s boundaries and alternative routes is available below.
