In Fiji:
Fiji welcomed its first-ever Broadway musical production, MAMMA MIA!, at the Suva Civic Centre on 9 February.
Performances commenced on 9 February, with two shows on 10 February, one on 11 February, another on 16 February and concluding with two final shows on 17 February.
The audience was treated to an all-star lead cast, including the Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro as the Dancing Queen, alongside Soni Uluitoga and others. They enjoyed singing along to hit ABBA songs like Dancing Queen and Take a Chance On Me as they witnessed the hilarious story of a young woman’s quest to find her birth father.
Tickets for the show started at $11 and on the final day they were sold out.
