Agriculture and Waterways Minister, Vatimi Rayalu, is in the Northern Division this week to visit key waterways project sites and farming communities.
Yesterday, he toured the nearly completed 450-meter seawall project in Navunievu Village, Bua, designed to protect against seawater erosion.
Villagers expressed their gratitude for the seawall during a Talanoa Session, highlighting its importance in safeguarding the foreshore.
Rayalu reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing waterways and supporting regional farming communities.
His tour will continue for three more days across Bua, Cakaudrove and Macuata Provinces.
