In Fiji:
The Ministry of Education has liaised with the Fiji Bus Operators Association and they have agreed to transport students and schools will cover the cost from FEG.
While the Ministry is making every effort to ensure students reach home safely, it is also calling on parents to be in touch with schools so that they also play their part to ensure the safety of their children.
The Ministry thanks FBOA for being considerate and prioritising students’ safety.
The Heads of Schools are to work closely with the bus companies and facilitate this arrangement.
