Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua lock Carletta Yee will be the youngest Drua player ever to make her debut when she runs out against the Brumbies Womens team in this week’s Round 3 of the Super Rugby Women. The 17-year-old will make her first appearance, as will Olympics Bronze medallist and former Fijiana 7s captain Rusila Nagasau.
In the starting 15, powerhouse prop Ana Korovata will start at loose-head, with Tiana Robanakadavu at tight-head prop. Last week’s try scorer Loraini Senivutu will start at hooker.
In the middle row, Fuga Ofakimalino partners Carletta Yee. Rusila Nagasau starts at blindside flanker with Nunia Daunimoala at open-side. Bitila Tawake is at number 8.
In the back-line, the seasoned Setaita Railumu will start at halfback, partnering Salanieta Kinita who is at flyhalf. Vice-captain Vitalina Naikore moves from center to left wing for this match with Repeka Tove retaining her place at right wing. Ema Adivitaloga starts at inside center with Merewairita Neivosa outside her. Litiana Vueti completes the starting line-up at fullback.
On the bench, Keleni Marawa is named as backup hooker, Salanieta Nabuli will cover the loose-head prop role with captain Vika Matarugu as backup tight-head. Alfreda Fisher covers for the locks while Karalaini Naisewa will cover the loose forward trio. Kolora Lomani is backup halfback with Josivini Naihamu covering the inside halves. Luisa Tisolo covers the rest of the back-line.
