The Fiji Football Association has deferred the semifinals and final for the Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream Battle of the Giants tournament.

The semi-final was originally set for August 19th, and the grand final on August 20th has now been rescheduled for a new date.

The new dates for the semi-finals are September 16th, and the grand final will be on September 17th at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

Fiji FA was forced to take this action after district teams expressed concerns that most of their senior players would have missed the knockout stages due to their selection in the Digicel Fiji Under 23 team for the upcoming Olympic qualifier in New Zealand.

Fiji FA will hold the pool games of the BOG as planned from 11th to 13th August.
