The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is constructing a new Nadi Express Office at Jet Point, Martintar, undertaken by Vinz Work contractors and expected to be completed by 2 April.
This initiative, started on 22 January, aims to improve customer service and streamline operations, particularly in response to the increasing demand in the Western Division, notably in the busy Nadi area.
The new office will reduce the pressure on the current Nadi Back Road Office, which handles over 27,000 transactions monthly. Despite serving commendably, the Nadi Back Road Office faces challenges due to overcrowding, with an average of 131 clients present at any time.
The Nadi Express Office, with an anticipated monthly transaction processing of 8,000, will provide a more spacious and comfortable environment, featuring seven service booths, one inquiries counter and a seating capacity of 87. Defensive Driving Courses will also be offered.
The project aligns with LTA’s Digitisation Journey aimed at enhancing efficiency and accessibility through digital technologies.
LTA acknowledges the efforts of Vinz Work contractors and anticipates the official opening of the Nadi Express Office in April 2024 as a significant milestone in its commitment to improving transportation and customer services in Fiji.
