Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka hosted his Papua New Guinea counterpart, James Marape to a welcome dinner at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel yesterday evening.
Prime Minister Marape is in the country for his first official visit.
The dinner was attended by the PNG Ministerial delegation which included Foreign Minister Justin Tkatchenko MP, the Minister for Fisheries, Jelta Wong MP , the Governor Enga Province, Hon. Sir Peter Ipatas and the Vice Minister assisting the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Marape will return on Wednesday whereas his Foreign Minister will join other Pacific Leaders at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat Special Leaders retreat in Denarau, Nadi, later in the week.
