A series of intensified police operations across Suva and surrounding communities has resulted in multiple arrests and the confiscation of suspected illegal drugs and cash believed to be linked to criminal activity.
Authorities carried out targeted raids in Nadonumai and Narere, while additional patrols were conducted in Nabua and nearby locations.
During the operations, officers seized over $4,000 in cash, substances suspected to be methamphetamine, dried plant material believed to be marijuana, and several mobile phones thought to be stolen.
Police have also confirmed that ongoing efforts targeting the cultivation and illegal possession of marijuana are being conducted nationwide, with arrests and seizures reported across all five divisions.
