The HSBC Sevens Regular season concluded in Singapore last weekend and now excitement is building towards the highly anticipated event in Madrid later this month.

The top eight teams in the women’s and men’s competition will now contest for the sevens series championship glory at the upcoming Grand Final.

The pool draws for the championship have been announced.

Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team has been drawn in Pool B with New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa.

Argentina which won the regular season for the first time heads Pool A and has been drawn with Australia, France, and Great Britain.

In the women’s draw, Fijiana will face Australia, France, and Ireland in pool stages while champs Black Ferns are drawn with the USA, Canada and Great Britain.

The winner-takes-all Grand Final event in Madrid will be played from May 31 to June 2.
