In Fiji:
Bau Island – His Excellency, the President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, has arrived at Bau Island to officiate the opening ceremony of the Bose Levu Vakaturaga.
Prior to the President’s arrival, government Ministers, notable dignitaries, and invited guests have started arriving.
This morning, Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka also arrived on Bau Island.
Government Ministers are also attending the opening of the Great Council of Chiefs meeting.
The formal proceedings are set to begin soon.
