The President of Fiji, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, lauded the Lau Education Charitable Trust for its efforts in strengthening education and the quality of life in the Lau Province. 

Speaking at Lau Education Charitable Trust’s fundraising dinner in Suva, he lauded their focus on early childhood and primary education, as well as their contributions to secondary and tertiary learning. 

He noted their slogan, “Be the Change for Tomorrow,” and emphasised the importance of working together for national unity and development. 

The President highlighted Lau Education Charitable Trust’s achievements, including providing educational equipment to schools across the province and implementing projects such as repairing water tanks and refurbishing early childhood centers. 

He urged continued cooperation between stakeholders to improve education in Fiji.
