His Excellency, President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere received members of the Fiji Pine Ltd and Trustees at the State House today.

Amongst the group was the chief executive officer of Fiji Pine group Vimlesh Kumar.

In his address, President Katonivere thanked the Fiji Pine group trustees and senior executives for their hard work over the years.

President Katonivere noted during the global pandemic, this industry stood tall with the landowners, having shared the benefits.

Additionally, President Katonivere urged the members of FPL and the trustees to continue working together in order to achieve the common goal of contributing to the Fijian economy through sustainable harvesting, forest management innovation, and enhancing local value addition.
