RARS Autogas Station opens in Nakasi

Motorists along the Suva and Nausori corridor can now fuel up at the newly opened RARS Autogas station.

The opening ceremony featuring a partnership between Fiji Gas and RARS is an initiative to lower carbon emissions.

Director for Rars, Rajendra Prasad said the new gas station will serve the motorists in Nausori.

CEO for Fiji Gas, Hans Reiher said that the opening of the new Gas station is an initiative to help lower Fiji’s carbon emissions.

“With estimated investments of three million dollars, Fiji Gas now has twenty stations throughout Fiji strategically located to make sure we continue to serve our customers to the best of our ability,” said Reiher

Reiher said motorists travelling between the Suva and Nausori corridor can now stop at Rars for gas in Nakasi.

He added Autogas has been around for over 50 years with the first LPG powered car driven by the former Managing Director of Fiji Gas, Harvie Probert.
