The Ranibulu community now has a restored place of worship and gathering following the renovation of the Ranibulu Shree Sanatan Dharam Ganesh Mandir.
The temple had suffered extensive termite damage, leaving the building in poor condition and in need of urgent repairs.
Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts, Charan Jeath Singh, officially commissioned the renovated temple.
The Government provided $10,284.59 through the Multi-Ethnic Community Development Grant during the 2025–2026 financial year to purchase materials for the renovation. Members of the Temple Committee provided the labour to carry out the work.
Temple Committee President Salendra Kumar said the Government assistance came at a critical time as termite damage had caused the building to deteriorate rapidly.
He thanked the Ministry for its support, saying the grant enabled the community to bring the temple back to good condition.
The Multi-Ethnic Community Development Grant assists communities with development projects, with local communities also contributing to the implementation of projects that meet their needs.
