Rooster Chicken Drua Women naming

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women have named their squad for their first ever home semi-final against Western Force this Saturday. 

Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has made a few changes to his line-up after last weekend’s match against the Melbourne Rebels. Former captain Bitila Tawake makes a return after being brought in to cover for the props.

In the front row, Salanieta Nabuli retains her place at loosehead prop. Keleni Marawa is starting hooker alongside the powerhouse prop Anasimeci Korovata  who returns to the starting  at tighthead. The locking combination of Jade Coates and Asinate Serevi again features in the middle row. 

The starting backrow also remains the same, with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega at openside and captain Karalaini Naisewa retaining her place at number loose forward.

Setaita Railumu is back at halfback this week alongside Jeniffer Ravutia who returns at flyhalf. Adita Milinia will pair with Merewairita Neivosa on the wings. Merewalesi Rokouono will replace the injured Merewai Cumu at second five, partnering the exciting Vani Arei who is at outside centre.  Speed merchant Atelaite Buna Tonezzz Player of the Match twice consecutively, will start at fullback again. 

Providing cover on the bench at hooker is Litia Marama. 

Bitila Tawake returns as reserve loosehead prop this week. Vika Matarugu completes the reserve front row at tighthead. Mereoni Nakesa and Fulori Rotagavira will cover for the middle and back rows respectively. Evivi Senikarivi is back up halfback, while Salanieta Kinita is the reserve flyhalf. The match kicks off at 4:35pm on Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
