The Youth and Sports Sports Minister, Jese Saukuru, took time out of his busy schedule yesterday to join the youth of Lautoka in an interdenominational march organised by the Fiji Council of Churches. The main theme of the march was Peace and Reconciliation in Fiji.
The march saw youths from every Christian denomination coming together to promote peace and reconciliation in Fiji.
The event was a powerful display of unity and solidarity among the youth of Fiji, who are committed to building a peaceful and harmonious future for their country.
Following the march, a combination church service was held at Lautoka Mission Primary School, where participants had the opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection.
Sukuru commended the youth for their dedication to promoting peace and reconciliation in Fiji and encouraged them to continue working towards a brighter future for all Fijians.
The interdenominational march and church service were powerful reminders of the importance of unity and cooperation in building a peaceful and prosperous nation.
The Minister looks forward to continuing to work with the youth of Fiji to promote peace, reconciliation and unity in the country.
