World Rugby Hall of Famer and former Fiji 7s coach is emphasizing the importance of focus, commitment, and a fresh start for the upcoming season.
Giving his message from the top of the Sand Dunes in Sigatoka, 7s great Waisale Serevi suggests that there are significant challenges in the coming year, and the coaches and the players will need to be mentally prepared and dedicated.
Serevi says players and coaches will need to be very focused for the new season. He urged the players to set their goals now as the first eight months of 2024 will be very important and work need to start now to retain the Olympic 7s gold medal.
To make 2024 a memorable year for Fiji Rugby as a whole, Serevi is advising all coaches and players to plan ahead and the key ingredient is, of course, keep your focus.
