The National Disaster Risk Management Office has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Southern Viti Levu (Sigatoka-Coral Coast, Lami to Suva, Interior Serua-Namosi, Interior Nadroga-Navosa), as well as Bua and Western Macuata provinces.
The public is urged to be vigilant due to the risk of heavy rainfall and localised flooding in flood-prone areas, minor roads and low-lying crossings.
These conditions may cause traffic disruptions and reduced visibility.
Motorists and travelers are advised to prioritise safety and avoid unnecessary travel in affected regions.
