The founder of Hot Bread Kitchen, Dr Mere Samisoni has passed away.
Samisoni was also a former Member of Parliament and a member of the the Social Democratic Liberal Party.
In a statement, SODELPA says the departure of Dr. Samisoni is a significant loss for the party, as she has been an integral member since its inception and a steadfast advocate for the welfare of the Lewenivanua of Fiji.
The party adds her commitment to service has been unwavering, and her absence will be deeply felt.
SODELA President Ratu Manoa Roragaca says her meticulous nature, coupled with her strategic prowess, has positioned her as a leader who leaves no stone unturned in achieving her goals.
Beyond the political sphere, the Party believes that Dr. Samisoni’s impact reverberates through her initiatives to support women’s organisations across Fiji, bolster sports clubs, and uplift vulnerable communities.
Ratu Roragaca adds the party is bidding farewell to one of its staunchest supporters and an invaluable repository of knowledge within Fiji’s political landscape.
SODELPA expressed gratitude for her remarkable service and leadership, and will undoubtedly miss her profound influence.
