South Seas Towage Limited signs on three interns

South Sea Towage Limited today signed on three graduates, from the Nadave Technical School as ‘intern employees’. 

Nathan Campbell, Seveci Vakaloloma and Saimoni Raikuna – seek to be only three of the many outcomes of this great initiative, by the ‘Center for Appropriate Technology and Development’, under the Ministry of I-taukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts.

Director for CATD Nadave, Aporosa Silatolu highlights the importance of today’s event and the center in providing meaningful employment for not only the three gentlemen but the overall youths of Fiji collectively

“The center aims to provide a platform of meaningful employment for many youths in Fiji and we are very happy to have been able to sign three of our interns today. They are the first of many.”

21 year old, Saimoni Raikuna who graduated from the Nadave Technical School a year ago and has signed on with South Seas Towage Limited expresses his gratitude towards both Nadave and South Seas for an opportunity as such

“I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity as I never imagined this ever happening. This is only the start of my career”

Raikuna encourages all youths in Fiji to employ their abilities and aptitudes to support themselves.

“For my brothers and sisters listening, don’t see your educational background as a barrier in achieving your dreams”

The Nadave Technical School seeks to be one of the many initiatives made by the Ministry of Itaukei Affairs in providing jobs for the youths in Fiji and combatting the increase in rates of unemployment
