Suva Football Club will be known as FLICK Suva FC this season after they sealed a historic sponsorship from a renowned hygienic company.

Flick Hygiene comes to the board as the sole largest sponsor for the district with the biggest financial backing to date.

Interim Suva president Intiaz Khan said he had sleepless nights since taking charge of Suva FC.

“’ For the last two nights, I slept like a log and the reason is this FLlCK HYGIENE, “Khan said.

“We gather here with gratitude and excitement as we extend our sincerest thanks to Flick Hygiene for their generous sponsorship of the Suva Football Association for 2024.

“We cannot express enough how deeply appreciative we are for their support. The sponsorship will serve as a beacon of hope and opportunity for our association and our players,” added Khan.
The former Suva rep added that with Flicks’ generosity, they were better equipped to prepare for the challenges and triumphs that lay ahead in the upcoming major district competitions.

‘’The deal will not only benefit Flick Suva but nurture talent and passion within our district and will also foster the development of football in Suva and the nation as a whole, “said Khan.

Khan added that the company had shown trust in their leadership.
“They have put trust in our mission and empowered us to reach new heights and we appreciate Flicks’ partnership in making a positive impact on Suva FC,” said Khan.

“The sponsorship strengthens our commitment and inspires us to work harder and make a difference and we are privileged to have them on this journey with us.

Director of Administration for Flick Hygiene David Chand said they are excited to partner with Suva FC.

“We are proud to join hands with Suva Football Club for the 2024 season. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to supporting and fostering local sports.”

The sponsorship amount was not disclosed during the signing but the company has taken the naming right of the Suva FC in all major tournament and Digicel Fiji Premier League 2024.
