Suva Netball Association has extended its partnership with Newworld IGA for two more years. 

This continued collaboration, which has prospered for over a decade, will keep Suva Netball branded as Newworld IGA Suva Netball and further enhance the sport’s growth. 

Newworld IGA’s representative, Sameer Patel expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing support, whilst Suva Netball President Alumeci Sachs thanked Newworld for their crucial role in the association’s success. 

Ms Sachs says that the Suva Netball Association is proud to see most of their Open Players don the National Uniform.

She added that the U21 Suva Players have been selected to be part of both the NWYC Oceania Qualifiers in Cook Island the Maori Netball International Secondary School Tour this year.

This season, the Suva Netball Association welcomed more than 80 registered teams, reinforcing its position as the largest netball association in the country.

The partnership will be officially marked by a ceremony on 30 September at Lot 1 Viria Road, Vatuwaqa.

The renewed sponsorship will further enable Suva Netball to provide exceptional opportunities for players, technical officials, engage with the community and host events that celebrate and promote the sport.
