Minister for Women Lynda Tabuya says she is currently awaiting the outcome of the People’s Alliance Party Disciplinary Committee’s decision, on allegations of her conduct.

The People’s Alliance Disciplinary Committee, which was tasked with investigating the claims against Tabuya, was expected to deliver its decision last Friday.

Tabuya, a prominent figure within the People’s Alliance Party has been under scrutiny for alleged breaches of conduct.

“I have yet to hear from the Disciplinary Committee, or the management committee as well as the Executive Council, so I’m just waiting to hear from them”, she said.

The People’s Alliance Party had previously assured that the results of the disciplinary proceedings would first be shared with the party’s board, before being made public.

The nature of the allegations against Tabuya, have not been disclosed as of yet.

For now, Tabuya awaits the resolution of the disciplinary proceedings, that will shape her political future within the People’s Alliance Party, and the broader political landscape in Fiji.
