The Fiji National Under-19 Women’s Football Team has commenced their training camp at the Fiji Football Association Academy in Vatuwaqa, marking the start of preparations for upcoming international competitions.
Head Coach Angeline Chua stressed that the camp will focus on building team cohesion, improving tactical awareness and enhancing both individual and collective skills.
Players will undergo intensive training to boost fitness, technical abilities and mental readiness, while team-building exercises looks to strengthen unity within the squad.
The team has been placed in Group A of the 2025 OFC U-19 Women’s Championship, alongside Samoa, Cook Islands and the winner of the qualifying tournament.
The tournament will take place in Tahiti from 21 to October 4 September, with the qualifying event scheduled in Tonga from 7-13 March.
The draw for the tournament was confirmed yesterday at the OFC Home of Football in Auckland.
