Westpac Fiji has reaffirmed its commitment to leadership development in Fiji by renewing its partnership with Leadership Fiji for another three years.

Through its partnership with Leadership Fiji, Westpac Fiji is committed to investing in programs that develop the next generation of leaders and give them the skills and knowledge they need to influence social and economic change in Fiji.

Westpac Fiji Chief Execputive Officer, Shane Smit says education and leadership, particularly in financial literacy, are at the heart of what they do in the community so by investing in programs like Leadership Fiji, a future is built where individuals are empowered with the knowledge and skills to drive positive change in their communities and the economy.

With a strategic goal to create a Leadership Center for Fiji and the Pacific and increase the range of leadership programs it offers at all societal levels, Leadership Fiji had established one of the first Executive Leadership Program in 2024, with the vision to significantly reinforce Leadership Fiji’s dedication to nurturing leaders at every level of their development.

Leadership Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Sharyne Fong, expressed her gratitude, stating that Westpac’s commitment and support to Leadership Fiji highlights the vital role they play in fostering leadership and strengthening nation-building efforts.

She adds that these kinds of partnerships are essential to enhancing leadership abilities and guaranteeing inclusive advancement for Fiji’s future in promoting significant social and economic transformation.
