The Fiji Water Flying Fijians put up a gallant performance in the second half to seal its second win in the Rugby World Cup.

Fiji defeated Georgia 17-12 in their third pool match. This was also Fiji’s first back-to-back win in the Rugby World Cup.

Flying Fijians failed to get a bonus point from this match and will now need to beat Portugal in their last match to book its place in the quarterfinals.

Georgia played well and led 9-0 at half time but Fiji came back in the second half with two tries to Waisea Nayacalevu and Vinaya Habosi.

Fiji’s quarterfinal place is not yet set in stone, but one more point from their final pool match against Portugal will seal their playoff spot.

That match is 7am Fiji time on Monday 9 October.
