Ba football team striker Mohammed Raheem won’t be part of the Digicel National Football team at the Pacific Games in November.
Despite his outstanding performance for the Champions Men In Black in the Courts IDC, it was too late for Raheem to be considered for the final squad.
Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf explained that although Raheem was named in the initial extended squad, he was not included in the final 33-member team that was given to FASANOC.
Yusuf stated that their target is to win a Gold medal at the Pacific Games, and preparations will resume next week.
The Pacific Games are scheduled to begin on 19th November in Honiara, Solomons.
