The Chief Executive Officer of Investment Fiji Kamal Chetty says, they no longer monitor investments, however they are only responsible for attracting investors.
They have recorded a high number of investors over the years, most of them, local investors.
While Investment Fiji will no longer actively monitor investments, it remains committed to providing the necessary support and resources to ensure a thriving investment climate.
Chetty says, this approach is set to boost economic development and create a mutually beneficial environment for both local and international investors.
Investment Fiji’s new strategy aligns with the belief that by making the investment process more straightforward, it will attract a higher number of foreign investors seeking opportunities in the Fijian market.
He says, Investment Fiji is dedicated to positioning the country as an attractive and competitive hub for investment opportunities in the Pacific.
