In Fiji:
The Army 7s side is crowned the new champions of the 37th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s after beating Navy 20 – 5.
Laced with a lot of experience players, Army proved too strong as they dominated every aspect of the game.
It was a final dictated by the heavy and slippery conditions however this did not deter the two sides displaying an outstanding game of rugby.
Former Fiji 7s player Rokoua Rasaku was the star for Army scoring two tries in the final and his pace was Army’s strike weapon in attack.
Both teams were locked at five points all in the first half before Army came out in the second half firing and scored three unanswered tries to win the title.
