Digicel Fiji National futsal head coach Jerry Sam has named his 18-member squad for the inaugural OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup 2024.

The squad includes the promising young talents Sisilia Kuladina and Miliana Mara-nai-kibau, who represented the Digicel Fiji U-15 girls’ team at the OFC U15 Girl’s Development Tournament in May.

Other notable national representatives in the squad are Cema Nasau, Luisa Tamanitoakula, Aliza Hussein, Unaisi Tuberi, Sofi Diyolowai, and Lora Bukalidi.

The team marched into camp at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa on Monday, they are undergoing two training sessions daily at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Sam will announce his final 14-member squad after the one-week trials which will end on Friday.

The tournament will take place from the 17 -25 of August, in the Solomon Islands.
