The Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry has announced the launch of the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprise Fund, with a $400,000 allocation for the 2024-2025 financial year.
This fund is designed to support micro and small businesses in the tourism sector by enhancing their products and services to strengthen Fiji’s experiential tourism offerings.
Micro businesses can apply for up to $15,000, while small businesses can apply for up to $25,000.
To be eligible, applicants must be Fijian citizens 18 and above, have a registered business in operation for two years, business must be at least 51% Fijian-owned and predominantly revenue-driven by tourism.
Applicants must also contribute one-third of the project cost.
Applications are open until 28 February 2025.
