Home improvement retailer Bunnings is preparing to roll out a new online shopping platform for customers in Fiji, allowing households across the country to order hardware and home improvement products directly to their doorstep.
The new platform, Bunnings Pacific, is expected to go live later this month and will build on the company’s current wholesale presence throughout the Pacific region.
Shoppers in Fiji will gain access to thousands of products and well-known brands typically found in Bunnings stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Bunnings Managing Director Mike Schneider said the online platform was developed with local consumers in mind, focusing on convenience, dependable service and transparent shopping experiences.
He said customers will be able to access detailed product information, easy-to-understand pricing and clear delivery timelines while using the site smoothly on both smartphones and desktop devices.
At launch, the online store is expected to stock about 20,000 items, including power and hand tools, gardening supplies, electrical products, home security equipment and cleaning essentials.
The company says studies show online shopping in Fiji is still growing, with many consumers wanting greater confidence in delivery services, secure payments and trusted customer support.
Orders made through the platform will be dispatched from Bunnings’ Australian distribution hub and delivered through international shipping partners.
