Fiji’s Electoral Commission has returned to its full complement with the appointment of two new Commissioners as preparations continue for the country’s next General Election.

Nicola Vuetilovoni and Raumanu Georgina Pranjivan have joined the Commission, while Commissioners Ratu Inoke Loganimoce, Nemani Mati and Reginald Jokhan have been reappointed for new terms.

The appointments were formally welcomed by Chairperson Justice Usaia Ratuvili during Electoral Commission Meeting No. 5 of 2026.

Justice Ratuvili said having a full team was important as the Commission prepares to carry out its supervisory and appellate responsibilities during the electoral period.

He also reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment, alongside the Fijian Elections Office, to ensuring Fiji’s elections are credible, secure and transparent.

Vuetilovoni brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership across architecture, project management, property, tourism and corporate governance.

She has previously chaired Habitat for Humanity Fiji and currently serves as a director of Uluda Holdings Limited, while also contributing to regional development and sustainable tourism initiatives.

Pranjivan is a legal practitioner with experience in public law, governance and commercial litigation.

She spent more than 11 years with the Office of the Attorney-General before moving into private practice and has represented Fiji internationally, including during the country’s COP23 Presidency.

The Commission says the combined experience of the new and returning members will support its work as preparations advance for the next General Election, with a focus on maintaining the integrity and transparency of Fiji’s electoral process.
