No Foul Play in Officer’s Death in Sigatoka

The Fiji Police Force says the death of the police officer found motionless in Sigatoka Town has been classified as a natural death following the completion of a post-mortem examination.

Police confirmed that the officer died from an underlying medical condition that was worsened by personal lifestyle choices, ruling out any foul play.

The findings have been conveyed to the officer’s next of kin.

In a statement, Police said the officer’s death had been surrounded by speculation and has urged members of the public to allow the family to grieve in peace.

The Fiji Police Force reiterated that the post-mortem examination found no evidence of foul play and has called on the public to respect the privacy of the deceased officer’s family during this difficult time.
