Fans are in for a treat this week as the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua host the Crusaders in Suva for the first time in their short history.

The Drua have played the traditional Super Rugby Pacific heavyweights in Lautoka for the past two seasons, winning both matches.

Fijian Drua Head Coach Glen Jackson has named a strong matchday 23 to take on the men from Christchurch in this crucial Round 8 clash.

Haereiti Hetet will start on Saturday at loosehead prop with Mesake Doge at tighthead and co-captain Tevita Ikanivere at hooker.

Locks Mesake Vocevoce and Isoa Nasilasila retain their partnership in the middle row. Tamani starts at blindside flanker position this week with Tuwai at openside. The blockbusting Elia Canakaivata starts as number 8 loose forward.

In the backline, co-captain Frank Lomani starts at halfback, partnering Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula who is at flyhalf. Ponipate Loganimasi is back on the left wing with Ravutaumada taking his right wing position. Tabuavou starts at inside centre and Iosefo Masi will start at outside centre position. Vuate Karawalevu is at fullback.

Jackson opted for a 6 – 2 split on the bench this week, naming Zuriel Togiatama as replacement hooker, Emosi Tuqiri at loosehead and Samuela Tawake at tighthead. Leone Rotuisolia will cover for the locks. Vilive Miramira and Etonia Waqa have been named as back up loose forwards. Simi Kuruvoli and Isikeli Rabitu will cover the backline this Saturday.
