The Fiji Labour Party has stated that they are concerned with the ongoing political and institutional chaos gripping the Coalition Government.
Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry, says instead of confronting the crisis head-on, the Prime Minister has chosen to downplay the gravity of the situation, pretending that everything remains “under control.”
Chaudhry claims that the truth is quite the opposite – the Coalition is collapsing under the weight of its own hypocrisy, infighting, and betrayal.
He also stated that the People’s Alliance Party is in disarray.
The Labour Party Leader also claimed that the Alliances are shifting daily, and trust in leadership has all but evaporated.
He adds that this country deserves better.
Chaudhry says the people of Fiji deserve a government that leads with honesty, not arrogance – that upholds the rule of law, not manipulates it – and that serves the nation, not personal and political interests.
He adds that the facade of stability has crumbled, and Fiji needs renewal, not recycled politics.
