Dolokoto and Masi takes up leadership role in Round 9 of Super Rugby Pacific match

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head Coach Glen Jackson has shifted Caleb Muntz at fullback and young Philip Baselala on the bench this weekend in the Super Rugby Pacific. The side is looking to turn their season around at the halfway mark of the 2025 season, facing the Highlanders this Saturday evening in Dunedin.

Jackson has also named new co-captains for the match, with Mesulame Dolokoto and Iosefo Masi taking on the leadership role in the absence of Tevita Ikanivere and Frank Lomani.

Haereiti Hetet will start at loosehead prop with Mesake Doge at tighthead and Dolokoto at hooker.

Locks Mesake Vocevoce and Isoa Nasilasila retain their places in the middle row. Joseva Tamani starts at blindside flanker, Isoa Tuwai at openside. Elia Canakaivata starts as number 8 loose forward.

In the backline, Simione Kuruvoli starts at halfback, partnering Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula who is at flyhalf. Ponipate Loganimasi starts at left wing with Selestino Ravutaumada at right wing position. Inia Tabuavou starts at inside centre and Iosefo Masi will start at the outside centre position. Caleb Muntz is at fullback.

For bench impact this week, Jackson has selected Zuriel Togiatama as replacement hooker, Peni Ravai at loosehead and Samuela Tawake covering the tighthead prop position. Leone Rotuisolia will cover for the locks and Vilive Miramira backs up the loose forward trio. Philip Baselala will cover halfback with Isikeli Rabitu covering flyhalf. Tuidraki Samusamuvodre completes match day squad as backline utility.
