Fiji’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, presented his credentials to Niue’s Premier, Dalton Tagelagi and Cabinet, marking the start of his diplomatic duties in Niue.
This follows the formalisation of diplomatic relations between Fiji and Niue last year.
Kubuabola expressed gratitude for Niue’s hospitality towards Fiji’s community and pledged to strengthen bilateral ties.
He will make courtesy visits before departing, supported by the Mission’s Second Secretary, Josua Tuwere.
Mr Tagelagi welcomed Mr Kubuabola, highlighting the commitment to regional cooperation and prosperity.
