Kalouniwai emphasises importance of inquiry and trust amongst RFMF

The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, briefed Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers at the WO’s and SGT mess at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Nabua, on Wednesday, 27 March.

Kalouniwai said that with increasingly complex issues the institution faces, it was important for leaders to encourage inquiry. 

He said that the current landscape demands a more critical approach where everyone should be encourage to partcipate in decision making within the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF). 

The Commander said that this would would aid informed decision-making and effective leadership.

Kalouniwai highlighted the significance of trust in reconciliation and restoration efforts, highlighting its significant role in guiding soldiers appropriately. 

The Warrant Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers rank bracket are essential components of the military structure, contributing significantly to mission readiness, effectiveness, and are often defined as the backbone of any defence force.
