In the early morning yesterday, members of the task joint force Cori Mada 3 in the Solomon Islands International Assistance Force (SIAF) consisting of Police and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces joined their regional neighbors in commemorating ANZAC Day.
Yesterday’s service was also an opportunity for all regional members, which included the likes of Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea of the SIAF to reflect on their collective contribution in the quest to safeguard the freedoms enjoyed, and the desire to work together for better future.
The event also included twenty police officers of the Fiji Police force that accompanied the RFMF in support of the security operation led by the RSIPF.
