Earlier this morning, the Queen Elizabeth Barracks Drill Square hosted the Logistics Support Battalion’s Commanding Officer’s (CO) parade.

During his speech, CO Lieutenant-Colonel (Lt-Col) Biudole emphasized the value of logistics operations in the RFMF and reminded the battalion of their continued duty within the organization.

“It is imperative that you give every assignment assigned to you by the school your very best effort. The Basic Recruit Pass-out, exercises and trainings, Fiji Day festivities, and international conferences that run until the end of the year are just a few of the upcoming duties that we have scheduled for the next six months. I will thus remind everyone to make sure that we fulfill our objective by endorsing every activity carried out within the organization.” stated Lt-Col Biudole.

The battalion’s commanding commander thanked them for their work throughout the first half of the year and summarized the data and observations analyzed from each support unit.

He urged them to continue working within the objectives of the unit, acknowledging that there was still space for development.

Furthermore, Lt. Col. Biudole apprised his troops of the nation’s increasing drug and HIV cases and urged them to abstain from illegal activity, as it would seriously harm the RFMF’s and their families’ reputations.

“Remember to live your life and your family’s as well; keep doing the right thing. You will be able to understand your place in the RFMF, the LSU, your business, and most importantly, your family, if you have discovered your life’s mission. Lt-Col Biudole said his piece.

Any defense force that seeks to sustain operational effectiveness must include the Logistics Support Battalion in order to maintain supplies, equipment, and logistics support.
